Delivery

  • Free delivery in Christchurch  – except deliveries to hill suburbs (including Lyttelton) which have a $10 to $30 delivery fee.
  • Nearby rural deliveries – no delivery fee for 6m³ or more. 3m³ orders to West Melton, Rolleston, Prebbleton, Lincoln and Burnham is only $10 – Kirwee is $20.
  • Deliveries to Kaiapoi/Spencerville/Brooklands/Clarkville/Tai Tapu must be 6m³ or more.
  • We only deliver; sorry no pick ups from our yard.
  • Our payment terms are internet banking or cash.

Wood Information

  • Pine – Lights quickly and burns hot but it does burn faster than Oregon or Blue Gum.
  • Logburner Mix – Half Pine and half Oregon; start the fire with Pine and then use Oregon for a longer,  more consistent, cosy heat.
  • Pine & Blue Gum Mix – Half Pine and half Blue Gum. A budget-friendly mix combining Pine for easy fire starting and Blue Gum for a longer-lasting burn.
  • Oregon – An all-round medium-density wood that’s easy to light, splits easily into kindling, and burns longer than Pine.
  • Premium Mix – Half Oregon and half Blue Gum A great warm mix for those chilly Winter days and nights.
  • Blue Gum – Our longest-burning wood, providing extended, lasting heat. For the best results, use Pine or Oregon to get your fire started.
  • Pine Timber Offcuts – Untreated excess Pine boards from a sawmill, cut to fit any size log burner. Great for combining with Pine, Oregon or Blue Gum to help get your fire going super fast and produce more effective heat.
  • ETHOS/ULEB wood is cut shorter in its width and length than our standard wood. It is for ETHOS Logburners, small Ultra Low Emission Burners (ULEB) and other smaller than average logburners whose internal fireboxes are less than 38cm wide and 30cm deep or vice versa. We do not sell wood for the Bionic brand of logburner..

Firewood Size

  • All our wood is cut to approximately 31 to 35cm in length except ETHOS/ULEB wood.
  • ETHOS/ULEB wood is cut to 28 to 32cm in length and approximately 18 to 23cm in width for ETHOS, smaller sized ULEB and other logburners with small firebox
