Delivery

  • Free delivery in Christchurch  – except deliveries to hill suburbs which have a $10 to $20 delivery fee.
  • Nearby rural deliveries (ie West Melton, Rolleston, Prebbleton, Lincoln, Burnham, Kirwee) – no delivery fee for 6m³ or more – only $10 delivery fee for 3m³ orders,
  • We only deliver; sorry no pick ups from our yard.
  • Our payment terms are internet banking, phone banking or cash.

Wood Information

  • Semi Dry Wood – Pre-Christmas our wood is semi-dry, meaning it is well on its way to being dry, unlike DIY wood which has just been cut and is starting the drying process. Semi Dry Wood is at a reduced price for those early buyers who are stocking up for Autumn 2025. 
  • Pine – an easy to start wood but burns faster than our other woods.
  • Logburner Mix – half Pine and half Oregon. Start the fire with Pine and then use Oregon to create a longer burning fire. 
  • Pine & Blue Gum Mix – half Pine and half Blue Gum – a great economical mix as Pine will get the fire started quickly and Blue Gum will keep it burning for an extended period of time.
  • Oregon – An all round medium hard wood that you can start a fire with and split into kindling easily. It burns longer than Pine to produce a great cozy heat.
  • Premium Mix – Half Oregon and half Blue Gum. Start your fire with Oregon and then use the Blue Gum to produce an even longer burning fire. A top of the range mix for chilly Winter days and nights!
  • ETHOS/ULEB wood is cut shorter in its width and length than our standard wood. It is for ETHOS Logburners, small Ultra Low Emission Burners (ULEB) and other smaller than average logburners whose internal fireboxes are less than 38cm wide and 30cm deep or vice versa. We do not sell wood for the Bionic brand of logburner.
  • Our wood is naturally dried and therefore burns longer than kiln dried wood.

Firewood Size

  • All our wood is cut to approximately 31 to 35cm in length except ETHOS/ULEB wood.
  • ETHOS/ULEB wood is cut to 28 to 32cm in length and approximately 18 to 23cm in width for ETHOS, smaller sized ULEB and other logburners with small firebox

$10 each or $9 each if 8 or more bags are delivered with a firewood order
